This is an interesting compilation of songs I've composed using the KORG DS-10 synthesizer, a synth adapted for the Nintendo DS. Throughout the two years I spent developing it, I had to get experimental with two monophonic synths, two simple patch bays, two kaoss pads, one drum machine, a simple mixer and a 16-pattern sequencer, which boasted some fantastic potential when combined!

The main challenge was to embrace the software's limitations when composing, achieving minimal yet intriguing results. Most songs had to be recorded with real-time pattern play - a high risk, high reward strategy, since the pattern behavior tends to be umpredictable - and others were structured through the song panel, which plays the patterns one after the other and allows for channel muting.

Also, my favorite part was twisting the knobs and manipulating the waveforms to get the pitches I needed! I learned a lot about the process of sound-making and loved assembling them together!

And lastly, most songs here were based off stories and projects I've got in the works. From animated short ideas to comic concepts, there's a bit of everything vibe-wise! I hope you enjoy giving them a listen!
